About me...

Hi..! 

 

I am Hamsa, currently a student at UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School, Dublin. I am pursuing MSc in Digital Innovation(formerly iBusiness). I have created this website as a study journal for one of the modules in my first semester, Managing Design and Development.

 

I was previously a Web developer at Cognizant Technology Solutions, Bangalore(India), for almost 3 years. Although I developed websites, I never made myself to create one for myself. So here it is now my first first website ever which I am creating along with content :)

 

Prior to this I have completed Engineering in Computer Science at Bangalore and I am hoping my current stream of business studies helps me get further on the path. 

Apart from my studies and work, I am passionate about learning new stuff. Things that excite me and one of those was an animation course over the last year. I was excited to learn how the absolutely brilliant 3D animation movies are made. So i took up a course to learn the software Maya, which was an absolute delight. An amateur though, I am waiting for the certificate of an animator ;)

 

I have always wanted to learn as many new languages as possible, so I currently am fluent in Kannada(my mother tounge), English(official medium of communication across many countries in the world), Hindi(one of the official languages in India), Sanskrit (well not as fluent as when i studied it in school anymore, but i can still understand few of the old shlokas and it being the ancient literary and philosophical language in India makes it special. It also connects with most of South Indian languages); Tamil (spoken fluency) and Telugu (well in progress with spoken fluency, but can understand well). I have a few more on my list, French (learning level 0 :P) and few more. But let me try to explain why i love learning so many languages. I believe language is the window to the cutlure and the minds of the people of that region. They open up like never before when spoken in their language, which makes it many more friends for me :P

 

That apart, I am a trekking and music enthusiast. Hoping my course turns out to be the new path to learning as always others have turned out.
